Jeux européens de Capoeira ouverts

Mestre Pelezinho and Capoeira Team Luxembourg would like to invite you to the Open European Capoeira Games.

The games are open to Capoeiristas from all over Europe and from all groups, and will take place in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, from 17 thto 19th of June 2022.

The competition will include categories for children, adolescents and adults, and according to cord and gender.

The minimum age for participation is 7. There is no minimum cordrequirement.

The competition itself will take place on Saturday and Sunday (18thand 19th of June 2022). The official program will be announced soon.

In addition to the competition, we are planning side events such as Capoeira workshops, musicality and instruments lessons, rodas and shows.

The event will be organized in accordance the required COVID-19 sanitary measures at the time.

Category A – Professores / São Bento Grande, Benguela, Iuna, Angola (Finals)

Category B – Instrutores / São Bento Grande, Benguela, Iuna, Angola (Finals)

Category C – Graduados and Monitores A and B* / São Bento Grande, Benguela, Iuna

Category D – 4th and 5th student cord (orange and orange-blue cord) / São Bento Grande, Benguela

Category E – 2nd and 3rd student cord (yellow and yellow-orange cord) / São Bento Grande

Category F – Beginners and 1st student cord (grey and grey-yellow cord) / São Bento Grande

Categoria Gunga - women 40+, men 45+ / A and B / São Bento Grande, Benguela (A)

YOUTH category / Male and female

Category 12-14 years / A and B*, São Bento Grande

Category 15-17 years / A and B*, São Bento Grande, Benguela (A)

CHILDREN category

Category 7-9 years, São Bento Grande

Category 10-11 years, São Bento Grande
